    Basic Purpose of the Position: Our Donor Outreach Specialists serve as a liaison between our Non-Profit Clients and their family of previous and prospective donors, sharing the Organization's vision and mission. The successful candidate will be comfortable speaking on the phone with a goal to expand the number of donors and support for the Organization while leaving every individual contacted "feeling good" about the experience. We’re looking for upbeat, personable, motivated professionals who feel passionately about partnering with our Non-profit clients to make a difference – one phone call at a time.

    Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
    1. Place phone calls to previous and potential donors and then document results/ responses in our computerized directory
    2. Perform script (with necessary adjustments as applicable) to ensure consistency of fundraising program
    3. Discuss and answer prospects’ questions about the Organization
    4. Generate between 20 to 30 dials per hour (100 per 4-hour shift)
    5. Meet or exceed the projected fundraising goals
    6. Set appointments with family base of prospective or current donors
    7. Maintain computer, telephone, and other required equipment and services
    8. Communicate any problems, concerns or questions to supervisory staff
    9. Refer current or prospective donor complaints to supervisor for quality control
    10. Communicate respectfully and politely with all potential donors, clients, and team members at all times

    Work Environment: This position is “work from home” with occasional meetings and training sessions at our Henderson, NV office. The employee is required to provide and maintain a PC running Windows Vista or newer (Windows 7 or 8), with at least 4GB of RAM and a dual-core processor (Intel Core2Duo or higher, AMD Athlon II or higher). Mac’s must run OSX 10.8 or higher. In addition, you must install and maintain an antivirus program on your system that is free from viruses/malware. You must also maintain an Internet connection that meets the required standards. Please see “Working from Home with VanillaSoft – Remote Users Guide” for details.

    Physical Demands: This is a largely sedentary role involving phone and computer use. Some travel to our local Henderson, NV office is required.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but employee must be available during the “core” work week/hours of Monday through Friday (with availability on Sundays) - 2pm to 6pm (flexibility for availability between 9am and noon) and must maintain availability to work up to 20-hours each week.

    Travel: No travel is expected for this position – other than occasional travel to and from our local Henderson, NV office for meetings and training.

    Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Military veteran or spouse of a veteran.
